Salary: TA 1 Grade D pt 6 £19,171 – pt 11 £21,166 pro rata
Teaching Assistant Level 1 Casual posts are available
It is desirable that applicants have recent, relevant experience ideally in a school/respite setting with children who have significant special needs

We are looking for Teaching Assistants Level 1 to join our enthusiastic and committed team in an OUTSTANDING (Ofsted November 2016), forward thinking and happy primary special school located in two lovely buildings shared with Cherry Tree Primary and The Orchards Nursery School. This post is primarily to meet the needs of the children over the lunchtime period and forms part of their PSHE.
Future expectation is to support the children with their learning in their classroom setting.

Desirable personal skills and knowledge are as follows:
To have a basic awareness of school curriculum
Good personal numeracy and literacy skills
A basic awareness of inclusion especially within a school setting.
